Blue. No, Yellow…

It’s negative 45 with the windchil, 31 below without. Needless to say, it’s time for some coffee–and maybe an indoor campfire! But since my landlords would likely react poorly to that, we’ll just have a little Coffee Talk instead.

An old friend called me last night and was talking about my blog. Interestingly enough, she said that my voice and style and tone had changed. Hmmm… I understand that it may have, but I hadn’t noticed it. I thought about asking all of you l about that, but then she brought up Leading Ladies and ended up getting blogged herself!

On vacation with only her husband, she was doing some light grocery shopping and found herself stuck in the cereal aisle. Literally stuck. Because when not buying what the kids will eat or what’s on sale, she had no idea what her favorite cereal was! I get that. I’m sure most of the moms out there and many of the dads do as well. We get for others on such a regular basis, we forget what we actually like. So…

Today’s question: If health, kids/others and price are no factor, what is your favorite cereal? And more in depth, is there something other than cereal that might stump you when asked what your favorite is? Is there something you always get for others because it’s what they want/like, that with that factor removed, you’d be lost?

Stuck in the cereal aisle on vacation… For the record, I laughed with her, not at her.

Lucky Charms!! I love those things!! Marshmallows rock! The only time I’m at a lost to pick something is when I’m in the horror section of a bookstore with a limited amount of cash. There are so many books I want to buy, but can’t get them all.

BTW I absolutely loved “How’s That Make You Feel?” One of the best stories I’ve read in a while.

I stood at the cereal -rows and rows of cereal at the grocery store today and didn’t get anything. That’s why more women aren’t writing here-they still don’t know. And neither do I.
