Free books, birthdays, and bugs

Happy coronavirus apocalypse, or as I’ve been calling it, the un po’calypse, because I am still learning Italian** and un po’ means a little. Little because I do not believe this is the be-all-end-all of society, just a hiccup. Or rather, a cough.

But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be careful. Stay home and stay safe. Don’t panic, but pay attention. Be prepared and realistic. Humans are the biggest parasite on this planet and like all parasites, we’re survivors. We can do this.

Now because today is my birthday, I have a two-part gift: one for you, one for me. For me, please sing Happy Birthday to Kelli each time you wash your hands today, because it’ll be fun and silly, and together we can kill germs and try to beat this bug.

For you… WILTED LILIES is now available FOR FREE. Because you may need something to read while home. And because the one thing this #staythefhome to #flattenthecurve movement just might do, is drain TBR piles. We can’t have that.

This is the first book in the Wilted Lily series and a lovely little precursor of things to come. The novella is available through:

KoboNookAmazon (if they ever catch up to the ZERO price) – Payhip*

Stay home. Stay safe. We can and will get through this…

*for those who are after other goodies as well, this is a program that gives you the files but gives the author 99% of the funds, rather than 30-70% of online retailers

**Yes, I know it should probably be piccola, or rather, una piccola apocalisse, but un po’calypse is more fun to say. Don’t pop the dark humor bubble helping to hold me together through this…
