Among the Stacks

As part of The Gal in the Blue Mask’s Halloween Extravaganza, there was an interview.

I talked about my quirks, my fears, all kinds of random crazy things… Check it out to learn things about me you maybe didn’t know.

…and when you’re done, check out the rest of them. There are over 70 interviews just for the Halloween theme, then there are many  many more. Bookmark it. It’s a good place to have handy on those lunch breaks!

Six Toe Press interview

“Kelli Owen talks being a Nerdy Klutz, how that impacts her zombie apocalypse plan, and what a vampire story has to do with prejudice”

Thus is the headline for the interview I did with ToeSix press, now available on their site in issue #17.

Go ahead and read about my apocalypse and other fun answers to fun questions! Have followup questions? Feel free to ask them on the post here in the comment section below…

Signing Off | Buttercup of Doom 2.11

The end of a (short) era. The finale of the Buttercup of Doom podcast was taped live at Scares That Care charity weekend 5 because a bunch of lovely humans donated funds during the Horror Show with Brian Keene telethon and decreed it to be. And so it was.

We performed without a net—no notes, no plan—winging it with whomever showed up. It was a free-for-all Q&A, which included the famous “f*ck, marry, kill” question, pizza toppings, group sing-alongs, many other topics, insanity, giggles, and a reminder of rule number one: Don’t Be A Dick (oh, that should be my campaign slogan: Buttercup 2020)

Many many thanks to those who donated to make it happen, to those who attended the taping, and to those who have listened over the years. Not sure what kept your attention, but I’m humbled to have had it. Thank you, and good-night…

Available FREE (until Sept 1 only!!) on: PEN Project Entertainment Network • iTunes • I♥Radio  •  StitcherAndroidTune-In • Google Play Music • Overcast … and then POOF, gone. Sponsors: my new novel TEETH (not your mom’s vampires) and my ABCs coloring book for adults, The Atrocious Alphabet with illustrations by Chris Enterline

TEETH

» coming August 3rd «
(some formats available sooner… or now)

These are not your mommy’s vampires.

They don’t sparkle. They won’t hypnotize you. They don’t even necessarily prey on the weak, the sleeping, or those with throbbing neck veins.

These are vampires for the 21st century — completely reimagined, dropped into society, and given every problem, issue, and headache any other minority would encounter… these just have different Teeth.
