October Signing Events

‘Tis the season… for creepy crawlies, ghouls and ghosts, and things that go bump in the night. During the months of October and November I will be signing, selling and/or speaking at several one-day events.

This is the first annual Rosie’s Bookapalooza—a book festival for the literary lovers of all demographics! Named for, and in honor of, the former book store owner who was the executive director of the Community Arts Center for over 33 years. A day of authors, vendors, and more! Come see me there…

More than 50 authors and artists, signing and selling their work, and conducting free panel discussions on various book, publishing, and spooky Halloween topics. Costumes encouraged.

I will be on the Supernatural Thrills panel (from 10.30 am – 11.20 am): What makes a great supernatural thriller? Which great thrillers are also stealth horror novels? How do we strike the right balance in such a tale? The authors address these questions, and recommend some of their favorites in the genre. Click here for more info!

I will have a selection of books with me for each of these, including the new release PASSAGES, and the banned chapbook. Author Picks

Pimp my friends… the holiday edition!

Did you get gift cards for Christmas? Cash in your stocking? Bookstore vouchers? Wondering how to spend those? I got your back!

During December, I ran around social media asking all my author friends and followers this question:

“Which one of your books should someone experience? Not what’s new. Not what’s on sale. But if they could only have one of your books, which would you tell them was essential to their library?”

The following is their answers, aka, a lovely little shopping list for you!!

Inventory Blow Out

So I’ve been rearranging bookshelves, going through convention stock boxes, and I realize I need to make room for the next year (which, excitingly enough, already has four releases planned). I need room! So I’m selling the stranglers, final copies, and extra originals—and you get a chance to grab that thing you don’t have. Best part? You don’t even have to leave your house to hunt me down at a convention, and you can still get your goodies personally signed.

Inventory with quantity and prices in parenthesis. I will update quantities as they go and mark items sold out when gone. Note: any currently in print paperbacks may be available for those looking for signed copies, just ask.

A short and sweet episode for the 4th of July. Because, hey, I wanted to celebrate too. So a quick talk to cover: seasons in writing, summer vacation entertainment, and what to do with those children (who find themselves out of school with the whole world to explore and yet say they are “bored”). I have a kiddie pool, a hammock and a half-hour to spare. How about you?  (note: random clicks in background is firework noise and couldn’t be fixed. sorry)

I break down the fake victims of the world into subcategories and call each of them out as dicks. I get angry. I get a little sweary—#NSFW this week folks.
